How to Use the Bible Reader
The Bible Reader is the heart of Bold Bible, designed for a clean, distraction-free reading experience.
Opening the Bible Reader
- Tap the Bible icon in the bottom navigation bar
- The reader opens to your last-read position
Navigating Books and Chapters
- Tap the book/chapter display at the top of the screen
- Use the Book Picker to browse all 66 books
- Select a book, then choose your chapter
- Swipe left or right to move between chapters
Selecting Verses
- Tap on any verse to select it
- A verse action menu appears with options:
- Copy - Copy verse text to clipboard
- Highlight - Add a color highlight
- Note - Add a personal note
- Share - Share the verse
Reading Modes
- Light Mode - Clean white background
- Dark Mode - Forest green background for night reading
- Toggle in Settings or use the theme switcher
Toolbar Features
- Search - Find specific passages
- Focus Mode - Distraction-free reading with ambient music
- Deep Study - Toggle Rightly Dividing and Type/Antitype cards
Tips
- Swipe left/right to navigate chapters
- Use the search icon to find specific passages
- Long-press any word for Word Study
