How to Select Multiple Verses

Select multiple verses at once for copying, sharing, or highlighting entire passages.

Selecting Multiple Verses

  1. Tap on any verse to select it
  2. The verse action sheet appears
  3. Tap additional verses to add them to your selection
  4. Selected verses show a highlight background
  5. Tap a selected verse again to deselect it

What You Can Do with Multiple Verses

Once you have multiple verses selected:

  • Copy - Copy all selected verses as text
  • Share - Share as text or create a beautiful image
  • Highlight - Apply the same color to all verses
  • Note - Add a note that references all verses

Selection Tips

  • Verses don't need to be consecutive
  • The verse reference updates to show your range
  • Long passages work great for sharing as images
  • Deselect all by tapping outside the selection
